Kaitlyn
Hello! My name is Kaitlyn Parker and I’m a freshman here at Davidson College! I’m from Raleigh, North Carolina, and I’ve lived there most of my life! I’m looking to major in something in STEM – possibly biology or chemistry. I’ve always loved math and science in high school, and I’m excited to be studying more science and math, along with branching out and trying new things here at Davidson! After college, I would love to get a job working in industry and researching! Outside of the classroom, I love to be outdoors and I especially love backpacking, exploring new places, and mountain biking. I also love to read and I love to spend time hanging out with friends! It’s not uncommon to find me setting up my hammock to read or at a coffee shop chatting with friends. I’m excited to take this class with y’all and learn more about how to write well and express our ideas through words!
I very much approve of your hobbies 🙂 Spending time outdoors is the best! Have you come across any cool bike trails close to campus?
Can’t wait to run into you at Nummit; it has good coffee!
I also love backpacking! Do you think you’ll join Davidson Outdoors?
I’m also a STEM person! I want to major in Computer Science. Maybe we’ll meet outside our writing class in math classes too.
I’m glad you’re a reader because that’s the first (and necessary) step to being a good writer. What genres or authors do you enjoy most? Let’s talk books sometime!
What/Where is your favorite place you have backpacked before?
Why don’t mountain bikers like elevators? They prefer going down in style!
Why do mountain bikes make terrible comedians? They always bomb downhill!
Your house is valueble for me. Thanks!…
